On September 1, the Oitavos, a five-star luxury hotel and spa, opened outside of Lisbon within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park along the Atlantic coastline. The main attractions at the 142-room hotel are the Arthur Hills–designed Oitavos Dunes golf course, sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, a full-service spa with 10 treatment rooms, an indoor and outdoor saltwater swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms with views of the preserved dunes, and several dining options including a gourmet restaurant, sushi bar, and tea lounge.
